Heat to boiling to dissolve the mediumcompletely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50°C.Mix well and pour into sterile Petri plates.Principle :Sucrose is the sole carbon source, and Sodium Nitrate is the sole nitrogen source in Czapek – DoxAgar. Dipotassium Phosphate is the buffering agent, and Potassium Chloride contains essentialions. Magnesium Sulfate and Ferrous Sulfate serves as sources of essential ions. Agar is thesolidifying agent in Czapek Dox Agar.
